She finished her vocal studies under Raffaele Passaro at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples with a distinction. She is the winner of numerous competitions, such as Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and the Clermont-Ferrand International Singing Competition. After her studies she embarked on a busy concert career in the field of opera, chamber and oratorio-cantata music. She is a valued performer of Baroque repertoire, songs and modern works. She has collaborated with the following ensembles: Cappella della Pietà de’ Turchini, Europa Galante, Les Talents Lyriques, Al Arye Espagñol, Concerto Italiano, Accademia Bizantina, La Risonanza and I Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca, under the direction of such outstanding musicians as Fabio Biondi, Antonio Florio, Ottavio Dantone, Jordi Savall, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Christophe Rousset, Eduardo Lopez Banzo, William Christie and Riccardo Muti, to name but a few. She has sung the leading roles in operas by Paisiello (Il Pulcinella vendicato), Puccinni (La Didone Abbandonata), Anfossi (La Finta Giardiniera) di Majo (Montezuma), Vinci (Partenope), Cavalli (La Statira, principessa di Persia, La Didone), Purcell (Dido & Aeneas and The Fairy Queen), Monteverdi (L’Orfeo), Vivaldi (Ercole sul Termodonte, Bajazet), Handel (Rinaldo, Ariodante, Partenope) and Mozart (Don Giovanni). She has performed in the most famous opera houses and concert halls across Europe, South America and Japan. She is a frequent guest of the most important festivals held in Salzburg, Beaune, Aix-en-Provence, Paris, Lisbon and Krakow. She records for Naïve, Opus 111, Glossa and Eloquentia. In the upcoming season she will be applauded by the audience of the Festival in Salzburg and the Paris Opera (Jomelli’s Demofoonte with Riccardo Muti), the Misteria Paschalia Festival (Intorno allo Stabat with Antonio Florio), the Paris Théâtre des Champs Elysée and the Krakow Opera Rara series (Handel’s Rinaldo with Ottavio Dantone).
