Philippe Jaroussky triumph at Midem Classical Awards 2009

As we expected, Philippe Joroussky has received two prestigious distinctions at the Midem Classical Awards. The vocalist has been considered The Artist of the Year 2009 and additionally honoured with the award for the Best Album 2009 in the Baroque Music category, dedicated to the famous castrato Carestini and recorded for Virgin recording company.
